In the face of neo – nuclear era, when majority of global population dwells in urban environment, one imagines new future social constructs and design scenarios, as it seems imperative to fundamentally rethink the way we organize, design and manufacture in urban future. This research proposes exploratory study of newly incepted product design practice based in London’s urban narrative, initial research focus is on documenting prototype development and reawakening non anesthetized informality within product design and crafting process. Following ethos of socially conscious design approach, emphasising heroic element in mundane mass production waste materials. Questioning further will this seemingly humble design process lead to social innovation opportunities, utilizing local network of waste management authorities and London’s community small-scale co-production revival? Therefore creating new possibilities for contemporary design practice using product as a tool for imagining a new meta city relations, claiming urban sociality as a new need to be re awakened.
